  • Cover letter development

  • Career coaching and consulting

  • Interview coaching and preparation

  • Personal branding consulting

  • Career strategy and job-search consulting

  • Related professional development services

The specific services, deliverables, scope of work, timeline, and fees applicable to each client will be communicated through the applicable proposal, invoice, service description, or other written agreement.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any service or offering at any time.

2. Service Scope and Deliverables

The scope of each engagement will depend on the service purchased by the client.

Before services begin, clients may receive information regarding the expected deliverables, project scope, estimated timeline, pricing, and applicable service conditions.

Services are provided based on the information, materials, and instructions supplied by the client.

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver the services described in the applicable service agreement or purchase confirmation. However, timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the project, client responsiveness, revisions, scheduling, and other circumstances.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information necessary for the delivery of services.

This may include employment history, educational background, professional achievements, job descriptions, career goals, LinkedIn information, and other relevant materials.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is truthful and accurate.

Steve & Company is not responsible for errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or misleading information resulting from information supplied by the client.

Clients are also responsible for responding to requests for information, reviewing drafts, providing feedback, and approving final deliverables in a timely manner.

4. Review and Approval of Deliverables

Clients are responsible for reviewing all drafts and final documents before using or submitting them to employers, recruiters, professional organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, or other third parties.

Once a final document has been reviewed and approved by the client, Steve & Company is not responsible for errors or changes that are subsequently made by the client or another party.

Clients remain responsible for ensuring that all information contained in their final documents accurately represents their professional background and experience.

5. Revisions

Where revisions are included in a purchased service, they must be requested within the applicable revision period communicated to the client.

Revision policies may vary depending on the service or package purchased.

Requests that materially change the original scope of work may be treated as additional services and may be subject to additional fees.

Steve & Company reserves the right to determine whether a request constitutes a reasonable revision within the original scope of work or a new service.

6. Payment

Payment terms will be communicated to the client before or at the time of service purchase.

Services may require full or partial payment in advance.

All fees are stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, checkout page, service agreement, or other written communication.

The client is responsible for providing accurate payment information and completing payments when due.

Steve & Company may suspend or delay services if required payments are not received in accordance with the agreed payment terms.

7. Cancellation, Refunds, and Rescheduling

Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling terms may vary depending on the service purchased and will be communicated to the client where applicable.

Because many of our services involve customized professional work performed specifically for an individual client, certain services may become non-refundable once work has commenced.

Any applicable refund will be handled in accordance with the applicable service agreement, refund policy, or purchase terms.

If a client needs to reschedule a consultation or appointment, reasonable advance notice may be required.

We reserve the right to charge applicable fees or decline rescheduling requests where a client repeatedly cancels, fails to attend scheduled appointments, or provides insufficient notice.

This includes, without limitation, loss of employment opportunities, income, profits, business opportunities, data, or other economic or professional benefits.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any claim relating to a service will not exceed the amount actually paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless AIRESTAR LLC, Steve & Company, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of our website or services, or provision of false, inaccurate, or misleading information.

Refund
Policy

Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 9, 2026

This Refund Policy explains the refund, cancellation, and rescheduling terms applicable to services provided by AIRESTAR LLC, doing business as Steve & Company ("Steve & Company," "Company," "we," "our," or "us").

Steve & Company is a professional career consulting and resume writing brand operated by AIRESTAR LLC, a United States Limited Liability Company.

Because our services are primarily customized professional services performed for individual clients, refund eligibility may depend on the nature of the service, whether work has commenced, and the amount of customized work already completed.

By purchasing or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

1. General Refund Policy

We aim to provide professional, high-quality, and customized career services that meet the agreed scope of work.

Before purchasing a service, clients are encouraged to review the service description, scope, deliverables, pricing, timeline, and applicable terms carefully.

Because many of our services involve customized work prepared specifically for an individual client, payments may become partially or fully non-refundable once work has commenced.

Any refund will be determined based on the circumstances of the request, the applicable service agreement, and the amount of work already performed.

2. Services Purchased in Advance

Some services may require full or partial payment before work begins.

When payment is made in advance, the payment reserves the applicable service, project capacity, consultation time, or production resources.

If a client requests cancellation before any customized work has commenced, we may consider a refund of the unused portion of the payment, subject to any applicable administrative, processing, or scheduling costs.

Once customized work has commenced, the amount eligible for refund may be reduced based on the work already performed.

3. Customized Professional Services

Many Steve & Company services involve customized work, including:

  • Resume and CV writing

  • LinkedIn profile development

  • Cover letter development

  • Personal branding materials

  • Career strategy

  • Executive career consulting

  • Career coaching

  • Interview coaching

  • Other customized professional services

Because these services involve time, professional expertise, research, analysis, writing, editing, and preparation specifically for the individual client, payments associated with completed or substantially completed work may be non-refundable.

If a client cancels after work has begun, we may retain an amount reasonably corresponding to the services already performed and refund any eligible unused portion, where applicable.

4. Cancellation Before Services Begin

If a client requests cancellation before work has commenced, the Company may review the request and determine whether a refund is appropriate.

Any refund may be subject to:

  • Payment processing fees that cannot be recovered

  • Administrative costs

  • Reserved consultation or project time

  • Other reasonable costs already incurred in connection with the engagement

The amount and availability of any refund will be communicated to the client after reviewing the circumstances of the cancellation.

5. Cancellation After Services Begin

Once services have commenced, refunds are generally not available for work that has already been performed.

If a client cancels an ongoing project, we may calculate the amount of work completed and determine whether any unused portion of the payment is eligible for a partial refund.

Work already completed may include, but is not limited to:

  • Initial consultation

  • Career assessment

  • Review of existing documents

  • Research and analysis

  • Resume or CV drafting

  • Content development

  • LinkedIn profile development

  • Editing and revisions

  • Career strategy discussions

  • Scheduled coaching or consulting sessions

Any refund decision will take into consideration the actual stage of the project and the services already provided.

6. Completed Services

Once the agreed deliverables have been completed and provided to the client, the applicable service fee is generally non-refundable.

Clients are responsible for reviewing deliverables and providing feedback within the revision period specified for the applicable service.

A client's dissatisfaction with a particular career outcome, employer response, interview result, or job-search result does not by itself create an entitlement to a refund.

7. Revisions and Client Feedback

Where revisions are included as part of a purchased service, clients must provide feedback within the applicable revision period communicated by Steve & Company.

Reasonable revisions within the original scope of work will be handled according to the applicable service package.

Requests that materially change the original project scope, require substantial additional work, or involve new documents or services may be subject to additional fees.

Failure to provide feedback or information within the applicable timeframe does not automatically entitle the client to a refund.

8. Coaching and Consulting Sessions

For career coaching, consulting, interview preparation, or other scheduled sessions, clients are responsible for attending the appointment at the agreed time.

If a client needs to reschedule, reasonable advance notice should be provided.

Where appropriate, Steve & Company may allow a client to reschedule a session without additional charges if sufficient notice is provided.

Repeated cancellations, late cancellations, or failure to attend a scheduled session may result in the session being considered used and non-refundable.

9. No-Show Policy

If a client fails to attend a scheduled consultation, coaching session, or other appointment without providing reasonable advance notice, the session may be considered completed for purposes of the applicable service package.

A no-show does not automatically entitle the client to a refund or replacement session.

At our discretion, we may offer a one-time rescheduling opportunity depending on the circumstances.

10. Refund Requests

Refund requests should be submitted through the contact information provided on our website.

When submitting a refund request, clients should provide:

  • Full name

  • Email address associated with the purchase

  • Service or package purchased

  • Date of purchase

  • Reason for the refund request

  • Any relevant supporting information

We may request additional information if necessary to review the request.

Each refund request will be evaluated based on the applicable service terms, the status of the engagement, the work already performed, and applicable law.

11. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in a client's account may depend on the payment processor, financial institution, or other payment provider.

Steve & Company is not responsible for delays caused by a third-party payment processor or financial institution after a refund has been initiated.

12. Third-Party Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

Third-party payment processors may have their own terms, policies, and procedures regarding payment transactions and refunds.

Where applicable, refunds will be processed through the payment method or payment provider originally used for the transaction.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact Steve & Company directly before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

We will make reasonable efforts to review and resolve legitimate billing or service concerns.

Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may be disputed with the applicable payment provider when appropriate.

Nothing in this section limits any rights that a client may have under applicable law.

14. Services Delayed by the Client

The delivery timeline for certain services may depend on the client providing information, documents, feedback, approvals, or other materials in a timely manner.

If a project is delayed because the client does not provide required information or feedback, such delay does not automatically create a right to a refund.

We may contact the client regarding an inactive or delayed project and establish a reasonable timeframe for the client to respond.

15. Company-Initiated Cancellation

In limited circumstances, Steve & Company may determine that it is unable to continue providing a service.

If we cancel an engagement before the agreed services have been substantially completed, we may provide an appropriate refund for the portion of services that has not been performed, subject to applicable law and the specific circumstances of the engagement.

Where appropriate, we may also offer an alternative arrangement or rescheduling option.

16. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, refunds generally will not be available solely because:

  • A client changes their mind after customized work has commenced

  • A client decides not to pursue a job search or career change

  • A client does not apply for jobs

  • A client does not receive interviews or job offers

  • A client does not receive a promotion or salary increase

  • A client does not receive a desired response from an employer or recruiter

  • A client changes career goals after services have commenced

  • A client fails to provide requested information or feedback

  • A client does not attend a scheduled session without reasonable notice

  • A client has already received and approved the applicable deliverables

Career outcomes depend on many factors outside the Company's control. Steve & Company does not guarantee employment, interviews, promotions, salary increases, visa approvals, or any other specific career outcome.

17. Exceptions Required by Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to restrict or exclude any refund, cancellation right, consumer protection, or other legal right that cannot lawfully be waived or limited under applicable law.

Where applicable law provides a client with rights that differ from this policy, the applicable law will control.

18. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update or modify this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, payment processes, or applicable legal requirements.

Any updated version will be posted on this website with a revised effective date.

We encourage clients to review this Refund Policy before purchasing services.

19. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Refund Policy or wish to submit a refund, cancellation, or rescheduling request, please contact us through the contact information provided on our website.
